The Day Balm is a waterless, lightweight moisturizer that effortlessly melts into the skin. It provides a layer of antioxidant and lipid protection that keeps skin soft and seals in hydration and moisture throughout the day. Its raw, whole, organic plants are carefully chosen to help protect the skin from daily environmental stressors, including free radical damage and inflammation from UV light. The concentrated, antioxidant-rich botanicals envelope each cell, creating a barrier of defense. This Balm, with its abundance of carotenoids, vitamin E and polyphenols, works well with most skin types and is focused on restoring health and radiance, while promoting aging vibrantly.

The making of the Day Balm begins with a 3-month whole plant infusion of Calendula, Chamomile and Lemon Balm – and a plethora of other notable skin-loving plants. Each with a specific purpose to strengthen the skin with its vast network of antioxidants, and to support the skin by reducing inflammation. Those two actions are key to preventing oxidative damage. Layers of fruit oils make the Day Balm unique: Sea Buckthorn, Red Raspberry, Rosehip and Cranberry bring an abundance of carotenoid and flavonoid protection. Sweet smelling local Beeswax combined with Shea Butter provide a hint of staying power throughout the day, slowing the rate at which the nutrients absorb to ensure their support is long-lasting.

The Day Balm is the lightest of all of the Laurel Skin Balms, and primarily differs from the Night Balm in the light molecular weight of its lipids, its emphasis on botanicals that are specific to UV damage prevention, and its citrus blossom scent.
